HueMetrix’s Dye-It-Right Controller™ is the autopilot system for shade control of the new millennium. It is a revolutionary and proprietary color process control system expected to achieve 98+% shade accuracy without adds. Through the systematic real-time control of controllable variables such as dyestuffs, chemicals, temperature, and salt, the Dye-It-Right Controller™ can compensate for variances in uncontrollable variables such as water and fiber quality.

The above illustration represents the controlled build-up of three acid dyes on nylon using the Dye-It-Right technology platform. The Dye-It-Right Controller™ can be designed to work on production dyeing equipment in batch and continuous environments.

How does the Dye-It-Right Controller™ work?

The Dye-It-Right Monitor™ analyzes dye and chemical interactions every minute then gives the data to the modeling software which analyzes the different variables against a control profile. When data variance between the dyebath liquor and the control profile gets too great, the Dye-It-Right Controller modeling software initiates specific changes to the appropriate controllable variables. This may include addition of more or less dyestuffs or chemicals, increased water temperature, etc… The modeling software then relays system changes to the dosing system and existing programmable logic controller.
