Russell Thomas, CEO

Mr. Thomas has a Master of Technology for International Development from NC State University and is Interim Director for Executive Programs in the College of Management at NC State. His area of expertise is technology entrepreneurship and commercialization for new-to-the-world products targeted at business markets. Mr. Thomas has business development experience involving early stage bootstrap and turnaround ventures, and consulting experience in spin-outs from Fortune 500 firms and universities. Mr. Thomas’s background also includes experience in operations and supply chain management as Director of Inventory Control at Variety Wholesalers where he was responsible for forecasting company sales, developing inventory management plans and managing the auto-replenishment and rebuy systems for two distribution centers.

Bonnie Parr, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary

Bill Dixon, Director of Business Development

Mr. Dixon is an industry veteran and seasoned sales manager. He worked 23 years at Ciba Specialty Chemicals in a variety of technical sales and service positions including National Sales Account Director. For the past ten years, Mr. Dixon has lead PCI Sales which developed and manufactured specialized process control equipment including real-time closed loop pH control systems that are now globally sold and distributed in partnership with Sclavos. Mr. Dixon has a Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology from NC State University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Kelly Wright, Assistant Director of Business Development

Ms. Wright holds an MBA from the College of Management at NC State University where she earned a concentration in technology commercialization. She was the lead for the graduate student team that validated the business opportunity for the HueMetrix system. She is a business writer and consultant with over 11 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development in small and large corporate environments.

Rob Tyler, JD, Hutchison & Mason, Legal Council

Mr. Tyler is a partner at Hutchison & Mason in Raleigh, NC. He has over 13 years of experience representing technology companies, including extensive experience in financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Mr. Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and JD from the University of Richmond.
